Hardcloud have a good selection of brands including all the popular ones like Animal, Vans, Volcom etc. etc. Amongst these there are some lesser known brands like Sutsu clothing, Lowlife belts and Dude shoes It’s great to see some of these lesser known brands available just a shame there aren’t a few more! Hardcloud have a good selection of men’s and women’s clothing available but no kids unfortunately. They do concentrate on surf, snow, skate and music inspired clothing so there’s not much in the way of hardware, but still there’s plenty of other stores for that.
We found the Hardcloud site initially a bit overwhelming. They use quite a small font on the site that’s not always the easiest to read. When you pick your product category, men’s T-Shirts for example, you’re presented with some great, clean product images and given the facility to filter the results by brand, colour or size. We love this feature and a few sites out there have it now. This makes searching through the big product categories a whole lot easier and you can really drill down to find the perfect boardies, t-shirt or whatever.
The checkout process was pretty good the only downside was that you have to create an account to order. It would be great to be able to checkout without signing up for an account. Some new users with limited time will just want to click buy and checkout, done unfortunately you can’t do this. Signing up for an account is easy enough so please don’t let this put you off and once your signed up your done. You have the option of using any Hardcloud voucher codes during the checkout process.
Hardcloud delivery charges currently start at £3.95 for 3-5 day delivery then £4.95 for 2 day and £6.95 for next day (upto 30kg). We’d have liked to have seen free delivery even if it was for 5 day delivery just because we’re tight and hate paying for delivery!
A good selection of brands at very competitive prices, check Hardcloud out and let us know what you think.
